Surveys for Money |
Surveys for Money - Can you Say SCAM? The answer about how survey takers actually make money is based on your perception of what exactly is money? Is money 25 cents for 30 minutes work? Some would argue that this is not really money and is actually a waste of time. The idea of taking a survey 4 cash though is a very tempting and attractive one. It tugs at our very interest in making money quickly, easily and without a lot of effort on our part. After all, what would be better than to sit around answering questions all day and getting paid for it. I actually kind of like surveys, and don't really mind doing them most of the time though I've never been paid for the effort. There are a lot of web based surveying sites that claim to be able to hook you up with enough paid surveys to retire on. Remember the adage that if it seems to good to be true it usually is? This definitely applies to this survey takers paradise. Clearly, the survey for money idea is being exploited by some unethical people who have no problem running scams on decent people just wanting to make a little extra money. If you are looking to get a little extra money or to start you own business, take a look at these links. They offer some great ideas to get your started in the right direction Some of the claims these sites suggest you can make many thousands of dollars a month doing nothing but taking surveys for a few hours a day. If it was so easy to make that much money doing next to nothing, why wouldn't everyone be taking surveys for money all the time? Why would anyone be cleaning toilets or designing operating systems for a living? Reality takes a holiday when people believe the BS some of these sites put up.
Beware of any site that claims huge riches then puts in small print they don't guarantee their product to work to make you any money. Big deal. The big print gives and the small print takes away. Survey taking sites are mostly scams. Some want you to pay up front for their list of companies that need survey takers. Rarely do any of these sites have anything resembling the actual intent of the offer. That is, YOU making money by taking surveys. This doesn't mean that you can't make anything. I personally signed up for Harris Polls and they send me surveys to take about once a month. As an incentive, they have a 10,000 dollar prize sweepstakes for those who participate. I've never won but heck, I'm certain the odds of winning are better than the lottery. They also offer prize points that can be redeemed for some rather nice gifts. These however are a long way from making thousands of dollars giving your opinion. Cash rewards are even more rare; more often you get some kind of coupon or gift certificate that you may not even want. Another funny catch about survey for money sites is that the lists they provide you with are available to anyone without paying. In other words, you can find all the sites they point you to on your own with some search engine work.
