The Internet has changed everything you were taught about making money. To earn money is no longer about building a widget and working for years to sell it to people. You can literally earn money on the web in as little as a week and sometimes faster. going at the speed of the web, money flows quick from person to person.

Of course, there are skills to learn but even starting from absolute zero, anyone with a positive attitude and willingness to learn can basic web skills in under a month. Slower folks can do it under 2 months. Remember though that there are many ways to create wealth using the world wide web.

I used to have a roommate that couldn't put anything together. She spent her time always looking for the next big thing but unfortunately she wanted to get rich without working to hard. Working with some of the less desirable people in the neighborhood however, she put together an earn money online kit that she sold on the Internet.

It advertised it as if all that he would have to do was to sit back and watch the cash roll in. Anyway, the point of the story is not that people who signed up for the kit made a few dollars. the point is that she and her friends made several thousand dollars within a couple of months sales simply by repackaging a product readily available on the web and making it their own. The people who bought the kit did earn money online in the survey taking business but not enough to pay for the kit itself

You earn money online selling crappy hand dipped incense, or the next IPOD accessory, or your old Aunt sally's apple pie recipe. And to get into any of these businesses takes a little effort and a few bucks. For under 100 dollars, you could be selling any of these items on the web and have change left over.

So in any event, how much money does it cost to earn money online? Let's see...

You need a web site. If you take a short class or read a basic HTML book in a weekend, you could do this yourself. COST = ZERO!

You need a Graphic designed template for your site. These are readily available from a variety of sources many of which are at no cost.

So far, to earn money online has cost you absolutely no money out of pocket. An because of the WWW, this is true if you live in the sticks of the US, the UK, India or anywhere else in the world. As long as you have a web connection, it's possible to be in business selling almost anything.

You need to host your new web site on the web. This WILL cost but not much. I've found hosting sites online for small businesses for about 5-10 dollars a month.

Now how about that person wanting to sell the incense you ask?. Personally, I would never have suggested this as a business but it's what the person wanted to do. And he did it without a nice, or interesting web page. He just picked up a stock web design out of a box, and posted his site on the web.

It is much trickier than that to earn money online, but the idea is the same. Get or find an interesting product or service, put it on the web, let people know about how it can help them in their lives, and the money online starts to pour into your account. Although not a get rich quick scheme, it is a way to get into business without a lot of money and be successful
