You are not required to administer whatever twelve step program is currently in vogue at the institution at which you work, and can develop your own program specifically tutored to your patient. Of course, it is more typical for a certified addiction counselor to work in an institution. This allows them to work closely with other professionals, and to really make a difference in the lives of those who have fallen farthest through their addictions.

A certified addiction counselor in an institution works with people whose addictions are so severe that they have necessitated dropping out of society for a while to recuperate, and working with these people, there is just so much difference you can make!

Current Industrial Reports (CIR) -- The primary objective of the CIR program is to produce timely, accurate data on production and shipments of selected products. The data are used to satisfy economic policy needs and for market analysis, forecasting, and decision-making in the private sector. These surveys measure manufacturing activity in important commodity areas such as textiles and apparel, chemicals, primary metals, computer and electronic components, industrial equipment, aerospace equipment, and consumer goods.
